iBike Fiji 4hr Tour Terms and Conditions

 

  • Full payment is required upon arrival of the day of the tour
  • If you book a tour and are found to be unsuitable all bookings are non-refundable within 24 hours of departure.
  • Damage or loss to any equipment will be charged.
  • If guests are no-show without cancellation, no refund is provided.
  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email: ibike@landandseatours.com.fj.
  • Minimum numbers are required on every trip and iBike Fiji reserves the right to cancel any trip when these numbers are not met.
  • iBike Fiji reserves the right to cancel any trip due to severe weather conditions or customers suitability.
  • iBike Fiji reserves the right to refuse guests to join a tour if they do not show sufficient bicycle skills during the test ride. No refund is provided in such a case.
  • All participants need to be at least 12 years of age and 150cm tall.
  • Participants 18 years and under require the guidance of a legal guardian.
  • All guests are required to sign a waiver at the start of the tour agreeing that iBike Fiji will not be held responsible for personal injury or for loss or damage of equipment not due to any fault of iBike Fiji.
  • iBike Fiji will explain the safety rules and regulations to be followed during the safety briefing. We reserve the right to stop the tour and return guests to base if these are deliberately not followed in order to protect the safety of all guests on tour at all times.  
  • No alcohol is permitted during this tour. iBike Fiji reserves the right to refuse entry to the tour for any guest who arrives under the influence of alcohol or any other prohibited substance.
  • The weight restriction is 120kgs per person. iBike Fiji reserves the right to refuse guests who are clearly overweight. A refund will not be made and premature transfer back to the resort will remain the responsibility of any guests in this situation.
  • We advise all guests to verify travel and medical insurance which covers you to what you deem to be a suitable level in case of an accident prior to confirming your booking. We will not be held liable for injury or death of any kind.
  •  If any disputes arise in relation to the agreement between you and us as constituted by these terms and conditions or otherwise, the laws of the Republic of Fiji will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Fiji and waive any right you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings are non-refundable within 48 hours of pick-up time (or tour start time if no pick up is arranged).
  • Bookings cancelled within 48 – 72 hours of pick-up time (or tour start time if no pick up is arranged) will incur a 50% charge
  • A full refund is offered in case of cancellation by iBike Fiji for the following reasons:
    • severe weather conditions
    • minimum amount of people not met
  • Subject to availability, one change of date per booking is permitted. If a booking date change occurs the right to request a refund under the cancellation policy is waived, so the booking then becomes completely non-refundable regardless of notice provided for any further possible cancellations.
  • In case of a refund, please note these may take 30 days or more to be returned to you. This depends on the method of payment used, and the amount owed in refund. We will endeavor to return your refund to you as soon as possible, but due to complex foreign transfer and credit card requirements imposed in Fiji, this process can take some time.

Multi-Day Cycling Trip Terms and Condiitons 

Booking and Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
  • Full payment is due no later than 80 days prior to the tour start date.
  • Bookings made within 80 days of the departure date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Refunds

    Cancellations by the participant:

    • More than 60 days before tour start: Balance minus the non-refundable deposit.
    • 59–30 days before tour start: 50% of total price refunded.
    • Less than 30 days before tour start: No refund.

    Cancellations by the operator (Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd):

    • We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient numbers or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or credit will be offered.

    Travel Insurance

    • All participants are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical expenses, personal liability, and coverage for adventure activities (e.g., boating, cycling, swimming).

    Third-Party Providers

    • Some services included in the itinerary, such as accommodations, transportation, meals, and certain activities, are operated by independent third-party providers.
    • Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd acts solely as a coordinator and is not the owner or operator of these services.
    • While we take care in selecting reputable providers, we are not responsible for the operations, staff conduct, equipment safety, or quality of service delivered by third parties.
    • In the event of any injury, loss, delay, damage, or dissatisfaction occurring during a third-party activity or at a third-party accommodation, participants must resolve the issue directly with the provider involved. Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd is not liable for claims arising from third-party services.

    Participant Responsibilities

    • Participants must ensure they are physically fit and capable of undertaking the activities included in the tour.
    • Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
    • You must comply with the directions of guides and staff at all times. We reserve the right to remove any participant who poses a risk to themselves, others, or the environment.

    Health, Safety & Risk

    • By participating, you acknowledge that tours may involve physical activity and exposure to natural elements and risks inherent to outdoor adventures.
    • Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd will take all reasonable care to provide a safe experience but will not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss sustained during the trip unless due to proven negligence.

    Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure

    • Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd reserves the right to make itinerary changes due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or events beyond our control (force majeure).
    • Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd reserves the right to make route and hotel modifications as necessary to improve the trip quality or to accommodate the comfort and well-being of guests.
    • Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd is not liable for additional costs incurred by participants due to such changes (e.g., flights, accommodation, or other arrangements not booked through us).
    • Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd will not accept any liability for any delay in your outward or inward flight/s, whether the cancellation or delay is caused by the weather, airline rescheduling, industrial action or mechanical failure. We will give no refunds or compensation for lost time and services from the itinerary.

    Use of Image and Media

    • Participants grant permission for Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd to use photographs or video taken during the tour for promotional purposes, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing before the tour.
    • Equipment & Property
    • Participants are responsible for any equipment provided (e.g., e-bikes, snorkeling gear). Damages or loss due to negligence and/or user fault will incur replacement or repair costs.
    • Personal belongings are the responsibility of the participant. Land and Sea Fiji PTE Ltd is not liable for lost or stolen items.

    Jurisdiction

    • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Fiji. Any disputes shall be settled under Fijian jurisdiction.

    Salty Dog Tours Terms and Conditions

    Reservations

    All bookings require a 50% deposit at the time of reservation, with the remaining balance due on the day of the tour. We reserve the right to cancel any reservations without refund if payment is not received on time.

    Cancellation and Refund

    Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tour will forfeit the deposit. No-shows will be charged the full tour price.

    Weather Conditions

    Salty Dog Adventures Fiji reserves the right to cancel tours due to adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour for a later date or provide a full refund.

    Guest Safety

    The safety of our guests is our top priority. We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours to ensure the safety of our guests, crew, and equipment.

    Liability

    Liability: Salty Dog Adventures Fiji assumes no liability for loss, damage, or injury to guests or their property during the tour. Guests are required to sign a liability waiver before boarding.

    By booking a tour with Salty Dog Adventures Fiji, guests agree to the above terms and conditions.
